About · EDHAT Studios
One person. One room. Everything ships finished.
EDHAT Studios is the creative company of Chuck Duncan — built on a simple rule carried from a decade in uniform to thirty-six years in music: do the work every day, and don't ship it until it's right.
The Founder
Chuck Duncan
Ten years U.S. Army Infantry. Thirty-six years making music. Twenty years producing it.
The Discipline
A decade in the Infantry teaches you the same thing a decade in a studio does: show up every day, finish what you start, and let the work speak.
The Craft
Thirty-six years of writing and playing, twenty of them behind the desk — producing, mixing, and mastering until the workflow itself became worth packaging.
The Company
EDHAT Studios exists to ship what the room produces: eleven released songs, a vocal plugin suite in development, and interactive projects on the way.
Plain Answers
What, who, and why.
What is EDHAT Studios?
A one-person creative company in Knoxville, Tennessee. It's the home of Chuck Duncan Music (eleven released songs), producer-built audio tools including the VIEW Vocal Suite (in development), and interactive projects. Everything is written, tracked, mixed, and shipped from one room.
Who runs EDHAT Studios?
Chuck Duncan — founder, artist, and producer. Ten years in U.S. Army Infantry, thirty-six years making music, twenty years producing it. He writes, plays, records, mixes, masters, and releases everything that carries the EDHAT name. When you contact the studio, you get Chuck.
Why "Every Day Here And There"?
That's what EDHAT stands for. It describes how the studio actually runs: something gets built every day — here in the room, and out there wherever it ships.
Is the studio bookable?
No. The Lab is a private facility, not a calendar to book. It takes on a limited number of outside projects by inquiry — tell us about your project and Chuck will reply within two business days.
What has EDHAT Studios shipped?
Eleven released songs under Chuck Duncan Music, streaming everywhere. The VIEW Vocal Suite plugin and interactive projects are in development — and the room is still running.
